A static calculation of the 30% target using 2025 GDP and compulsory-levy data.

From 43.6% to 30% compulsory levies: what is the order of magnitude in euros?
From 43.6% to 30% compulsory levies: what is the order of magnitude in euros?

Starting arithmetic

2025 GDP was €2,991.1bn. At 43.6% of GDP, compulsory levies mechanically equal about €1304.1bn. At 30% on the same GDP, they would be €897.3bn.

(43.6 βˆ’ 30.0) percentage points Γ— €2,991.1bn = €406.8bn

The resulting €406.8bn is a static order of magnitude, not a macroeconomic forecast.

Why it matters

A €350bn saving cannot simply become a €350bn tax cut while a €152.5bn deficit still exists. Otherwise the tax cut itself is partly debt-financed, violating the core architecture.
